Week 2 Lays Flat
While I was hoping to make a decent amount of progress on this last night, I wasn't expecting to make quite this much. By the looks of things, this could easily be finished today. After looking at my resource more I decided that he does need gloves, or at least one. There will also be feathers on the arrows, I just haven't decided on how those should look yet.

Sap - Now in Partial Color
Still looking decent. I was planning to add the pattern on the white of her shirt by hand. Then I took a close look at it and realized that would be completely insane. So while I touch it up in Photoshop and maybe add a simple background, I'm going to see about finding some sort of lace brush to download.
It certainly feels nice to be finishing another drawing so soon after my last one.

Dreaming In Color...ish.
How is it that I was better at coloring in the lines when I was ten than I am now? Well, either way, here's the coloring progress. Thank God for Photoshop, but I decided to not apply any touch-ups with it until I'm actually done.
I haven't finished with the shading because I wanted something to do to take breaks from the hundreds (perhaps thousands) of dots I have yet to add. Once again, this is the dress I'm drawing.
I'll probably finish this today because I'm in a bit of a pinch. My car is out of gas and my bank account is out of money, so I can't get to work. So uh... if anyone wants to throw a commission my way? That'd be nice. My next pay day isn't until the 22nd.

Week 6 - Progress 3: Still Truckin'

This isn't a late upload. I'll admit to not working on this at all yesterday. It was a long day and I had the attention span of a gnat. But today I think I made up for it. I wasn't even planning on doing this much, but since I managed to color all of the subject I think this will still be finished in a timely manner.
For the first time this year I reverted to my habit of doing all the fun stuff and then leaving myself with the dreaded background. On this, however, I think I'll just pull a few tricks with Photoshop and call it good. The point of this week was to relax and have fun, and I definitely did that.
In response to Kessie's comment on my last entry, I'm pleased that it shows which character I'm most comfortable drawing. I've been drawing Kat for ten years as of last December, so she should look rather natural, shouldn't she?

Week 4 - Progress 5: Closing In

Thank you, Kessie, for pointing out the perspective error on the paintings (that's what they are)! I covered it with white out and fixed it, but since they'll now be impossible to color over with marker, I'm going to cut out paper shapes from another source and paste them over. Like Photoshop, but with scissors and glue!
I started coloring, and pretty much anything left blank are things that I didn't know what color to use on. Except the walls. They're staying white.
His sword sheath I'm considering brown for, but decided to hold off and see if I got a better idea. His gloves will either be white or brown like his boots. The rug he's on I'm currently debating between light purple or the same green as his eyes. His sword I'm considering dark green/turquoise and purple for, but am currently unsure. If it helps, the country he's from has dark blue and purple as their "theme" colors.
